Important Clinic Details:
- Clinic instruction led by the GCU Cheerleaders includes jumps, motions, basic level stunts, game day chants, and a halftime routine performance.
- GCU swag provided: Lil Lopes T-shirt
- A special visit and photo opportunity from GCU’s mascot, Thunder!

Recommended Clinic Attire:
- Comfortable shorts or pants to move freely in
- T-shirt or tank
- Tennis shoes
- Hair secured away from face
- Only water is permitted in the Canyon Activity Center and must be in a closed container.
- During the clinic, you are welcome to stay and watch your child or you are free to leave! Either way, please plan to be back to the Canyon Activity Center by 2:45pm, as we will perform for you around 2:50pm.
- If you are dropping off your child for the clinic, please be sure your phone ringer is ON and you have good service, in case we need to reach you for an emergency.
- If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call or text 813-951-0127 (this is the number that will call you if there is an emergency).
Important Game Details
- Participants will perform during halftime at that evening’s GCU Men's Basketball game v. Chicago State. Game start time is 6pm.
- Each participant will receive free admission, plus 2 additional free tickets for parent(s). If you requested tickets to the Men's Basketball game, they will be available for pick-up during check-in for the Clinic.
- Doors for the Men’s Basketball game open at 4:30pm. If you received your tickets through this clinic, they are General Admission tickets with open seating on a first come, first served basis.
- Please listen for the announcement during the first half of the game asking your Lil Lope to meet the GCU Dancers in the arena lobby to get ready for our half-time performance. Please escort them to our meeting area.
- Make sure your Lil Lope wears their Clinic t-shirt for the performance, black or grey pants/shorts, dance shoes or sneakers, and brings their pom poms.
- We will perform facing the East side of the arena. Plan accordingly for photos/videos.
- Immediately following the performance, parent/guardian please meet GCU Dance Team and your Lil Lope in the lobby for pickup.
- GCU Employee? December 30th is the GCU All Employee Holiday Party, followed by the Men’s Basketball game. If you plan to attend that event, please get your game tickets through your manager.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by Grand Canyon University are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.
